The Resurrection Of Jesus

The resurrection of Jesus should make us have the power to change other people be someone who restored.

When evangelist John Wesley (1703-1791) was returning home from a service one night, he was robbed. The thief, however, found his victim to have only a little money and some Christian literature.

As the bandit was leaving, Wesley called out, “Stop! I have something more to give you.” The surprised robber paused. “My friend,” said Wesley, “you may live to regret this sort of life. If you ever do, here’s something to remember: ‘The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin!’“

The thief hurried away, and Wesley prayed that his words might bear fruit.

Years later, Wesley was greeting people after a Sunday service when he was approached by a stranger. What a surprise to learn that this visitor, now a believer in Christ as a successful businessman, was the one who had robbed him years before! “I owe it all to you,” said the transformed man. “Oh no, my friend,” Wesley exclaimed, “not to me, but to the precious blood of Christ that cleanses us from all sin!”

But the changes should be start from our self and we can changing anything, family, neighbour, city or bigger, country.

Kebangkitan Yesus seharusnya membuat kita memiliki kekuatan untuk mengubah orang lain menjadi seseorang yang dipulihkan.

Ketika penginjil John Wesley (1703-1791) itu pulang dari sebuah pelayanan dimalam hari, dia dirampok. Pencuri itu mendapati korbannya hanya memiliki sedikit uang dan beberapa literatur Kristen.

Sebagai pencuri lalu ia pergi, Wesley berseru, "Berhenti! Aku memiliki sesuatu yang lebih untuk diberikan. "Perampok terkejut lalu berhenti. "Teman saya," kata Wesley, "Anda mungkin akan menyesalinya. Jika Anda pernah lakukan, inilah sesuatu yang perlu diingat: 'Darah Yesus Kristus menyucikan kita dari segala dosa!' "
 
Pencuri bergegas pergi, dan Wesley berdoa bahwa kata-katanya berbuah.

Bertahun-tahun kemudian, Wesley menyapa orang setelah pelayanan di hari Minggu ketika ia didekati oleh orang asing. Apa yang mengejutkan untuk belajar bahwa pengunjung ini sekarang percaya di dalam Kristus sebagai pengusaha sukses, adalah orang yang telah merampoknya tahun sebelumnya! "Saya berutang semua untuk Anda," kata pria yang sudah berubah itu. "Oh tidak, teman saya," Wesley berseru, "tidak, tapi dengan darah Kristus yang membersihkan kita dari segala dosa!"

Tetapi perubahan harus dimulai dari diri kita dan kita bisa mengubah apa saja, keluarga, tetangga, kota atau lebih besar, negara.
